Comments: Pleione Pink Rhizome is a very beautiful garden orchid that blooms with beautiful flowers. This garden orchid is frost resistant and can be placed in a pot or in open ground. In very severe frosts we recommend offering the plant some protection. For example, cover the soil a bit or place the pot in a cool room with a maximum temperature of 7 degrees.

Leaf: Leaves reach a length of 10 to 15 cm

Height: Up to 10 - 15 cm.

Flowers: This Pleione has pink flowers, its flowers reach a size of 5 to 8 cm.

The Pleione prefers to be in a place with several hours of sunshine per day. They have a strong preference for nutritious soil that is well-drained. Sufficient moisture is necessary during the growth period. In winter the soil must drain smoothly.

Whichever variety of garden orchid you plant, the shoots will emerge from the ground with the first rays of sunshine in spring. They slowly unfold their floral splendor, which you can enjoy for weeks. The perennial plant continually produces new shoots underground, so you can expect more fairytale flowers every year. Nelumbogarden packs and ships its plants very carefully. We use sturdy cardboard boxes and pack with kraft paper. It is possible for soil to fall out of the pot or a leaf to break during transport. We do not guarantee these two points. We ask you to open the box carefully and not with a knife or sharp object. Carefully remove the (kraft) paper. Some plants lower their leaves in the dark, these are restored within a few days. Due to changes in the season, the plants may differ from the plant shown in the photo.

Our company does not work with chemical pesticides. We pack our plants in recycled material and limit the use of plastic to a minimum.
