Flowers: Dahlia Henriette is a Cactus Dahlia, this category is characterized by a playful appearance. The petals are rolled up and have a pointed shape, the heart of the flower also becomes visible during flowering. Her flowers grow to about 12 to 15 cm. in diameter.

Planting time March, April, May. Plant the dahlias in the spring when it is completely frost-free. You can plant them earlier in a flower pot and grow them in a frost-free area. After pre-pulling, the Dahlia can be replanted in the garden. Dahlias are also very suitable for growing in a pot.

Flowering time June/July until November (until frost).

Dahlias prefer a place in the sun. They prefer nutrient-dense soil that is well-drained. Sufficient moisture is necessary during the growth period. Dahlias are fast growers and can also be used as cut flowers. Picking flowers promotes the growth of new flowers and your dahlia will then become even fuller.

Whichever variant of our Dahlias you choose, the shoots will emerge from the ground with the first rays of sunshine in spring. They slowly unfold their floral splendor, after which you can enjoy them all summer and autumn.

Dahlia Henriette has been selected by Matthijs Hazeleger for Nelumbogarden.

Shipping times may differ due to the large quantity of orders and weather conditions. During the cold months we send our plants with a Heat Pack if needed. We keep a close eye on the weather forecasts.

Due to the large quantity of orders, adding plants to existing orders is not possible.

ATTENTION; We pack and ship our plants very carefully, damage to a leaf or discoloration is not covered by the guarantee.

Nelumbogarden packs and ships its plants very carefully. We use sturdy cardboard boxes and pack with kraft paper. It is possible for soil to fall out of the pot or a leaf to break during transport. We do not guarantee these two points. We ask you to open the box carefully and not with a knife or sharp object. Carefully remove the (kraft) paper. Some plants lower their leaves in the dark, these are restored within a few days. Due to changes in the season, the plants may differ from the plant shown in the photo.

Our company does not work with chemical pesticides. We pack our plants in recycled material and limit the use of plastic to a minimum.
