Remarks: Bowiea Volubilis is a very beautiful caudex plant, it has a special growth form. Bowiea Volubilis has a dormant period, during this period she loses her foliage. This Bowiea Volubilis is delivered as a rooted plant as shown in the photo. Every plant is unique, plants differ from eachother.

Care :

This Bowiea Volubilis likes very little water, but it is important that the soil does not completely petrify during the growing season. With too much water (wet feet) the plant can rot. In the winter months, the dormant season, you do not water.

This Bowiea Volubilis is not demanding on its location, it tolerates full sun. She can be placed as a houseplant. Or in the summer as a garden plant on the terrace.

Bowiea Volubilis can be fertilized once a month in the summer months with a light fertilizer. Fertilization is not necessary in autumn and winter. Growth then slows down and the plant consumes few nutrients.

Bowiea Volubilis is sensitive to too much water. The plant should therefore never feel wet.

Shipping times may differ due to the large quantity of orders and weather conditions. During the cold months we send our plants with a Heat Pack if needed. We keep a close eye on the weather forecasts. 

Due to the large quantity of orders, adding plants to existing orders is not possible.

ATTENTION; We pack and ship our plants very carefully, damage to a leaf or discoloration is not covered by the guarantee.

Nelumbogarden packs and ships its plants very carefully. We use sturdy cardboard boxes and pack with kraft paper. It is possible for soil to fall out of the pot or a leaf to break during transport. We do not guarantee these two points. We ask you to open the box carefully and not with a knife or sharp object. Carefully remove the (kraft) paper. Some plants lower their leaves in the dark, these are restored within a few days. Due to changes in the season, the plants may differ from the plant shown in the photo.

Our company does not work with chemical pesticides. We pack our plants in recycled material, we limit the use of plastic to a minimum.

Opmerkingen: Bowiea Volubilis is een zeer fraaie caudex plant. De Bowiea Volubilis heeft een gedeeltelijk tot volledig bovengrondse caudex in een frisse groene kleur

Verzendtijden kunnen door de grote drukte en weersinvloeden afwijken. Gedurende de koude maanden versturen wij uw planten indien nodig met een Heat Pack. Door de grote order drukte is het helaas niet mogelijk om planten toe te voegen aan bestaande bestellingen.

In ons bedrijf wordt niet gewerkt met chemische bestrijdingsmiddelen, wij gebruiken biologische bestrijding doormiddel van nuttige insecten die de schadelijke uitschakelen. Ondank het zorgvuldig controleren kan er een insect meereizen in de verpakking, deze zijn volkomen onschadelijk en dragen bij aan een beter en gezond milieu. Wij verpakken onze planten uitsluitend in gerecycled materiaal en dozen, we beperken het gebruik van plastic tot minimaal.

Verzorging Bowiea Volubilis :

De Caudex plant houdt van weinig water, maar het is wel belangrijk dat de grond niet versteend. Bij een teveel aan water (natte voeten) kan er wortel / caudex rot optreden. 
Deze Caudex plant is niet veeleisend aan zijn standplaats, hij verdraagt de zon. caudex planten als kamerplant of in de zomer als tuinplant op het terras worden geplaatst. 
Caudex planten in de zomermaanden eens in de twee maanden bemest worden met een lichte bemesting. In de herfst en winter is bemesting vrijwel niet nodig. De groei gaat dan langzamer en de plant verbruikt weinig voedingsstoffen. 

Caudex planten zijn igevoelig voor teveel water. Als uw Caudex plant bruine bladeren krijgt komt dit zeer waarschijnlijk doordat hij teveel water krijgt. Gelige bladeren die slap hangen zijn vaak een teken dat de plant te nat staat. U kunt bruine bladeren voorzichtig verwijderen. De plant kan einde seizoen in rust gaan en zal het volgende voorjaar weer opnieuw uitlopen. Tijdens de rust periode geeft u bijna tot geen water.
